SURPRISES: SOEHARTO DEATH; NEW LOOK OF THE JAKARTA POST.COM

By kurnia at 28 January, 2008, 9:20 pm

Here are the surprises. Soeharto is dead. Then the new look of the Jakarta Post. com where I actively contributed to design it over the past year, is finally born today. It’s still a baby and it will grow bigger this year.

I am v v happy as if I really have a new baby. Take a look at our website’s new look http://beta.thejakartapost.com in a shadow mode for the next few weeks before we fully launch it.

Just compare it to http://www.kompas.com, and http://www.malaysiakini.com, and http://nytimes.com

I clicked the link you gave but it brought me to the soon-to-be-old look of the website…

TAG! YOU’RE IT! You are invited to join a big viral tagging called BIG BANG WORLD RECORD. It’s a great and fun way to build links and increase Technorati authority.

But why JP website now looks like old again?

kurnia February 22, 2008

@akhyaree: It’s still on beta version. So try out the new website. Old website remain the main news source but soon it will be replaced by the new website..
